🌱 Why This Exists — A Kindness to Cats and Country

Cats are often blamed for harming bird populations, and keeping them indoors overnight does help. But there is a quieter, often unseen impact:
small birds frequently die as chicks in the nest, poisoned by chemical residues from pet fur and hair used in nest‑building.

Many conventional flea treatments — and even many “natural” ones — contain neem and essential oils that are toxic to cats, whose livers cannot safely metabolise certain plant compounds. These residues can then enter the environment, affecting the very creatures we hope to protect.

After careful research, I created this gentle, cat‑safe blend for my own companion, Misty. She’s healthier, happier, and her fur no longer sheds harmful residues into the environment.

This formula follows ASPCA and veterinary guidelines, using only cat‑safe botanicals at a low 0.5% concentration — ideal for feline sensitivity and wellbeing.

🌿 Directions for Use

• Apply 3–4 drops to the back of the neck and 1–2 drops to the base of the tail.
• Use the dropper to part the fur and reach the skin, then gently rub in with fingertips if possible.
• For active infestations, repeat weekly until resolved (typically 4–6 weeks).
• Once clear, apply every 2–3 weeks as needed.

🌙 Helpful Tips

• Use a good quality flea comb daily to remove fleas and eggs.
• As a general deterrent, place a few drops on a cloth or paper towel and lightly brush over your cat’s fur.
• Vacuum bedding and living areas regularly to remove dander and flea eggs.
• Wash bedding with a eucalyptus‑based cleaner for added protection.
• In cooler months, treatment may not be necessary unless signs of infestation appear.
